Kell Systems Opens Up Operations in the Netherlands
Company Appoints Ward van Zandvoort to Head up Regional Sales
April 22, 2008 - Kell Systems, designer and manufacturer of Portable Server Environments (PSEs), the first and only complete cabinet solution for deployment of servers and network hardware directly in the office workspace announces the opening of its Dutch operation with the appointment of Ward van Zandvoort to head up regional sales.
Kell PSEs are an award-winning new concept and a very real, self-contained alternative to building computer rooms. They combine extreme noise reduction with very high thermal capacity and their office-quality appearance blends seamlessly into almost any office environment.
As the second most densely populated major country in Europe, office space in the Netherlands is at a premium. PSEs, by enabling companies to free up and redeploy space dedicated to computer rooms, offer instantaneous floor space economies. In addition, PSEs come on wheel-about castors so allow more flexibility than permanent computer rooms in the event of future floor plans changes or offices moves.
Kell's recently launched BladeVault, is specifically designed to house a complete office IT installation comprised of a partly-or fully-configured IBM BladeCenter S™, HP BladeSystem c3000™ or Dell PowerEdge 1955™, plus UPS, network hardware and peripheral devices. At a time when reduced power consumption is high on many IT managers' agendas, BladeVault comes with strong green credentials too, supporting hardware thermal loads of up to 4.3kW and requiring only 84 Watts of power to do so, compared to the 3 to 4 kW needed to power the air conditioning in an equivalent computer room.
